We've heard people like Starter Packs, so we just begun putting one together for open source organizations. It could be an OSPO like us, a Foundation that supports projects and the ecosystem or accounts for OSS events.

Take a look and tell us who else should be there.

The raid in Venezuela is deeply concerning. Maduro's victims deserve justice but the US approach to it will likely en up in greater conflict and suffering for the whole region.

China will later use this as an argument to use force rather than peaceful means to reunite with Taiwan.

“We need a collectivist answer to Big Tech. I'm not just interested in the battles of yesterday; if now is the time of AI, I want a personal AI running on my personal cloud. There is zero reason for us to all become subservient clients to American corporations. The model can change.”
Atmospheric Computing
Cloud computing has been extremely successful, but it lost the values that drove personal computing. We can solve this by evolving forward.

We got back from Sweden by boat. I got us a room at the 9th deck with fine carpets, while I booked one for my sister low on the 2nd deck with the peasants. I joked about her partying with the Irish 😂

Little did we know that the sea would be quite rocky and scary because of the tail of a storm 🌊 ⛈️

I'm very disappointed at the rollback of EU emissions commitment @consilium.europa.eu @vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu

You're selling out the future of the planet because EU automakers failed to adapt.

The outcome will be mediocre:

Neither preventing global warming nor adapting fast enough to compete.

Aegean airlines has officially made it into my top 5 airlines to flight:

Good service from the stuards, snacks on a short flight, good take of and landing, boarding where yhe priority is respected despite having to use buses on the tarmac.

Recommended. Would flight again. ✈️

We visited the aquarium at crete, near heraklion. It's housed in a former American military base (from ww2? Cold war? 🤷

The turtle was gorgeous. We were the only ones. Crete is a great destination off season: everything is affordable, almost no tourists and 25° C when Helsinki is 1° 🌞🏖️

I just finished watching Medieval on Netflix (the one about Jan Zizka) and... It's like a high budget soap opera.

Not recommended.

I'll read a history book though. I'm confident the actual story is better. #FilmSky

One of the biggest risk of sora and other Ai video tools is that they will seriously erode the rule of law.

Criminals will start blackmailing people with deep fakes about crimes that have never been committed. Then actual criminals will claim that any proof against them is also a deep fake.

As universities embrace AI, a debate emerges. Proponents see a tool to enhance learning, while critics fear it stifles critical thinking and de-skills students. Rapid adoption is forcing a rethink of academic assessment.

I know this is old technology but being able to connect to raspberry pi with my phone just blows my mind.

It makes it easier to just run an update or set up something simple whenever I feel like, without having to turn on my laptop.

Oh I missed the command line 😊

Physicians are using A.I. for diagnoses and more. But a new study found evidence that relying on A.I. tools might erode a doctor’s ability to perform fundamental skills without the technology, a phenomenon known as “deskilling.”
