Breaking news: New civil rights division chief said more than 100 attorneys have left their jobs, in many cases because they disagreed with the office’s new focus on combating anti-Christian bias, transgender athletes in women’s sports, and “woke ideology.”

A new government tracker claims DOGE has saved billions from ending federal contracts. But an NPR analysis of the data finds the claimed savings don't add up.

Trump is simply repeating a Putin talking point here. Russia has insisted on intervening in basic issues of Ukrainian sovereignty for more than a decade. Now Trump is doing Putin’s PR work, making unsustainable arguments for an unjustifiable invasion.

As others have pointed out, if this was being done by Harris, and she enlisted George Soros to play the role of Musk, MAGA would be losing their minds.

But there's a major difference between them and us.

"You cannot A-B test what happens when you dissolve USAID. Maybe you save a lot of money for two years or five years or twenty years, and the decision looks efficient. But then a crisis erupts." "Efficiency" does not straightforwardly apply to government.
‘Government Efficiency’ Is a Myth
DOGE isn’t about “efficiency.” It’s about vandalism.

Do people understand how insane Trump's Ukraine deal is? America does not extort its allies as payment to defend them from being invaded by an enemy state. How are we having conversations like this?

Do you think you're going to pay less taxes by dismantling the Gov? You're not. Your taxes are going to billionaires and your own money will pay for what your taxes used to.

No coincidence — Musk’s attack on the CFPB came as he cut a deal with Visa to go into a payment business the CFPB has been regulating to make sure people don’t get ripped off.

His companies have been investigated by many agencies he is dismantling.

Hey media — when Republicans claim they are so concerned about the debt, please ask them why they plan to back Trump’s trillions in tax cuts (for the rich) again if it’s such an emergency?

Failing to ask them this basic question is frankly negligence.
