A federal anti-SLAPP bill should have been passed years ago, but the second-best time to do that is yesterday. Now can we find some way to staple this bipartisan bill to the NDAA or other must-pass legislation? Because I do not trust this Congress to rein in billionaire bullies otherwise.

After six days and counting, my husband still has a nasty cold. He says he’s going to mask up on subways from now on.
