Neighbour has a quince glut thanks to Amy. I’ve just started stage one (poaching), currently thinking membrillo but we will see. Next up (not today), green tomato chutney, courtesy of another neighbour’s glut!

Their smoked mackerel is unlike any other. And the smoked salmon, love it! Used to live near enough to just go over to get supplies from the shop. Must put an online order in.

Ok foodie friends, a recommendation for a solo, not super-spendy meal for tonight in London. Extra points if it’s near Tottenham Court Road or easy to get to North Greenwich after. I’m overwhelmed by options but starting to lean towards the Zedel. Where else should I consider?
