Ben is cooking me a birthday dinner (postponed from yesterday as we were too full after lunch!) so it’s onions and mushrooms with a garlic purée and chicken supreme, hazelnut pesto, celeriac & pear mash and braised cabbage. With wine, cos my birthday. 🥰

The hideously expensive Mauviel copper wok that is totally useless (it was a present). Everything else from them is glorious. I always use the piece of shit cheap wok I bought in a Chinese supermarket which is perfect.
