MAMDANIIII!!! Please let this be the beginning of something. I have not felt hope in so long. I hope the dems look at this and see what incredible things happen when you give people something and someone to vote FOR, not just against.

Happy to report that BonBon’s surgery went well— we just did spay and the teeth, and will be researching some promising non-surgical options for her entropion.

Bonnie is getting spayed tomorrow, and likely having her bilateral entropion (her lower eyelids roll inward so her eyelashes touch her eye constantly) surgically corrected. I’ve only had her for a month, but I love her so much.. I’m going to be a wreck until she’s back home safe.

This is Bonnie. I took her in last week after finding out she was living wild outside. We have her on antibiotics and probiotics for an eye and/or dental infection, and a probable a UTI. While I wouldn’t say she likes me yet, she seems to find me tolerable. I love her. 🥹

I was getting a pedicure today and across from me, also getting pedis with polish, were a mom, her probably 9-10y/o son, and his grandpa. It was the best. 🙂

Went out for groceries, to the pharmacy for allergy meds, and for a quick tour around the consignment place (because kitchen gadgets).. and the longest errand of this trip has been waiting in the Starbucks line for the green tea lemonade I was desperate enough to join this hellish queue for. 🥲

Saw this exhibit yesterday, where children drew and described a creature, then local glass artists created it. It was absolutely wonderful. I think maybe the kids are ok. Maybe we’re going to be ok.
