I never remember anyone saying “Did you see the latest Reiner?” like you would hear with Spielberg, Cameron, etc.

But undoubtedly made one of your favorite movies. He had a special eye for humanity that built cinematic cathedrals from small-scale stories like MISERY and WHEN HARRY MET SALLY.

10 years of American Halloween 🎃

We made this short film back in college with very little money and an incredibly supportive group of friends. In the decade since, it has become our most viewed short on YouTube. I’m grateful to everyone who has watched and connected with it over the years.

You know, yes, I am outraged for all the plagiarism and theft. But also, when I read about things like these, I think, in very Ernest Hemingway tones, “cowards.”

Sketch was excellent! There was a family next to us who were having the time of their lives. Laughed, cried, and had so much fun with this creative film!
A ★★★★★ review of Sketch (2024)
Sketch has a little bit of everything for everyone. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll cheer, you might even get a little scared. Seth Worley and team have crafted a genuinely great family film that fee...

I’ve been dying to watch this show since a friend introduced me to Pushing Daisies in college. Stumbled upon the DVDs at a thrift store and it didn’t disappoint. Sad there’s not more of it but great to see @bryanfuller.bsky.social has always been cooking!

My sister and I began writing our feature 5 years ago. We shot it in 2021 with a tiny but talented crew and almost no budget. As we begin our journey to get “The Hundred Voices of Harry Hoffman” in front of audiences, Im reminding myself that it was a miracle we got to make it at all!

"Separating art from the artist" is always a complicated conversation.

But when an artist says they are going to use their art's proceeds to further hurt marginalized people, don't just believe them, SHUN THEM.

The Trans community needs your support more than you need ANOTHER fucking Harry Potter.

I got to watch both of these incredible films on Monday and I haven’t stopped thinking about them.

THEY CALL HER DEATH was some seriously inspiring genre filmmaking and SUNLIGHT was so beautifully performed and the hardest I’ve laughed in a long time 🤩

NOTORIOUS is about radioactive ore in a wine bottle. NORTH X NORTHWEST is about microfilm in a little statue. There. Now you've seen them. And in seconds instead of hours. Look how smart you are.

A ★★★★★ review of The Life of Chuck (2024)
I read King’s novella on a rainy summer evening in 2021. Sandwiched in between some of his more familiar horror offerings in If It Bleeds was one of the most life-affirming stories I’ve ever read, The...
