Yeah I'm being a bit glib, TT is definitely ahead of YT shorts from what I know. But I think that big picture: 1) YT is still the king of video; BUT 2) it primarily serves a different product/niche than TT, IG reels, etc.

Yeah, having video as your primary medium (rather than text / photo) gives you way more information on users’ demonstrated interest

1961 downzoning, but projects were grandfathered in so you don’t see a major impact until mid-decade.
Then in 1975, the city created ULURP which led to an immediate decrease in zoning changes that could undo some of the impacts of 61 as demand grew again

As with many things Staten Island, it’s a mix of separatist spirit (endless drive to assert local control over citywide functions) and generalized grievance based on the very real problem that no one properly planned out the street network of Staten Island 60 years ago
