Actually yes! And I know one other person who has as well! I just put up a curtain - feels safer.

Or a basic understanding of the actual humans who will interact with it. All tech companies need to employ at least one person who regularly carries on conversations with people who don't work at tech companies who can say stuff like, "Won't kids just use that to find porn?"

I felt like her statement was noticeably not saying that she didn't say those things - the focus was on context and things left out, but never denying the words, so she's obviously trying to walk some kind of line.

The only surprise here is the names I expected to see but didn't. One positive side effect of SD being all but forgotten is that I rarely even think of them anymore 🤷

Between this and the Epstein files, I feel like any rat wanting to abandon this sinking ship has plenty of cover. Go for it! The best time to disassociate yourself from the madness was yesterday, the second best time is always this very minute.

My takeaway from that book was not that Sam Altman was smart. He has a certain set of skills, much like a successful bank robber, serial killer, or panhandler does - but I don't know that being good at extraction or trickery is necessarily the same as intelligence.

I'd like to see a Survivor-like game show where they have to do every day tasks WITH AI, but without all of the humans that actually run their lives.

There are red states with more D voters than blue states. There are many purple counties that get painted red on maps because of 51/49% split - this same logic makes our country a 'red' country. Many red states are home to exploited ppl, poor ppl, ppl of color. Why be so focused on punishment?
