…however, I’m very proud of what did get accepted and I do have some exciting publishing news already for 2026. Here’s to sticking with the art, even when it feels like nobody will ever care about it. I’m so thankful for everyone who’s ever engaged with my work—in small and big ways. ❤️

Tysm to the editors and readers of these pieces. This year post-MFA has felt like a slog when it comes to publishing. I didn’t submit at all during my MFA. I just focused on writing. I’m so grateful I had that time, but coming back into the world of rejections was, whew, tough to say the least…
