I am not a baker. My mother doesn't bake or care about cookies. However, I married into a family of quite serious bakers, and the annual Christmas cookie party is tomorrow. Usually I don't even try, but this year I've decided to attempt to bake a pecan pie cookie. Here we go.

Today I learned my first concert experience was seeing Raffi at Carnegie Hall when I was 4 years old. Apparently I went backstage for a meet and greet, but I didn't bring anything for him to autograph because I had no idea that's what you were supposed to do, so he offered to sign my hand instead 🥹

Paul Reubens is a hero and a legend. I'm glad he did 40 hours of interviews while he was secretly dying of cancer, and I'm grateful to Matt Wolf (and crew and family, etc) for bringing the Pee-Wee documentary over the finish line. Nothing about that seemed easy, but it was entirely worth the effort.
