Google messages' spam filter has gotten worse recently, it used to be that it caught 80% of spam texts

Only 7 of the 16 spam texts I've gotten in the past 3 days have been caught by the filter

I really think we should luigi the board of directors + ceo of flock

The Mayor of Denver continues to give them money despite the overwhelmingly loud voices against the cameras

Nothing is ever going to change with peaceful action

@mochie.being.dog is quitting a ts project over having to do
```ts
let regex
try { regex = ... }
catch { regex = fallback }
```
She will come back to the language within the next week after realizing ts is the best language for nearly every application nowadays

fun fact: html actually has native support for inline event handlers like most frontend frameworks do. they really don't want you to use it for some reason even though they're pretty much the same thing. developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/W...

someone shared this meme about % of programmers identifying as LGBTQ by language, but it had no citations (gasp!), so I wanted to collect my own data. reposts are appreciated, esp from non-queer programmers cause my circle is pretty damn queer ^-^;

show this to anyone else you know who also assumed DHH was just a normal conservative dude rather than a raging white supremacist lunatic
DHH Is Way Worse Than I Thought | jakelazaroff.com
DHH's politics are not normal. Maybe they used to be, I don't know, but as of right now the dude is_way outside of what most people would consider moral or acceptable.

forcing kids to apologize to eachother when they dont fucking mean it is the worst thing parents could possibly do

it encourages saying sorry when you're not
it completely devalues the concept of an apology

all it does it make kids think sorry means fucking nothing
