However, cutting off the head of a snake is fruitless if it just regrows. Venezuelans deserve the promise of democracy and the rule of law, not a state of endless violence and spiraling disorder. My hope is it offers a passage to true democracy and liberation. This action offers beleaguered Venezuelans a chance to seat their true, democratically elected president, Edmundo González. I'll demand answers as to why Congress and the American people were bypassed in this effort. The absence of congressional involvement prior to this action risks the continuation of the illegitimate Venezuelan regime."

This past month our 9 year old dog Maddie dealt with a serious cancer scare, but after a bunch of tests were ran she appears to be in the clear! Such a strange feeling after weeks of fearing the worst

"It was really great having you in class Cassie! You clearly knew not just the readings, but greater context for them. What most impressed me was your ability over the course of semester to increasingly (1) hold back from giving answers to classmates who did not know the answers (2) ability to combine that with really constructive questions and feedback to help classmates improve their work. I'm not sure how to phrase this exactly, but you were an absolutely critical cog in motivating class discussions, keeping them on point, and tying them to larger literatures. AND you were/are super positive and helpful in how you delivered feedback on peer work. I could learn a lot from you on that because I tend towards the negative! I'm looking forward to where you go in MA research and beyond."
