Mr. Rogers said, "Look for the helpers." I can find some way, some small or large way to be one of the helpers, even if I'm scared or angry or overwhelmed or just need a minute to breathe, even if it's just being patient, or slowing down. I want to try.

A lot of my views and values are born out of a sort of reactionary cynicism. While those feelings are legitimate, I think the expression of those feelings needs to be redirected. For the sake of others and myself, I want to learn to act like the sort of adult I would have looked up to as a kid.
