Same here! I just don't experience an aversion to French knots. This was my first attempt to use them and I could have gone on forever. :) Now all I want is an excuse.

The newest WIP #embroidery #art is the caucus race. I love this image but can't find the source. Just 1 person sharing on Flickr, so if you know the illustration please share. I altered it by adding enough to make it round (circular frame planned) and adding the mouse.

That is amazing and really unique work! I am going to be doing french knots for the first time to do the "trees" above the heads of the characters in this classic illustration from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland that I am working on and yours is inspiring next level french knot work!

I started a whole chicken simmering in the crock pot 24 hours ago. I forgot it overnight, so everything but the breasts I'd removed and refrigerated was far too cooked to eat, but the broth is, of course, amazingly flavorful. It's wonderfully rich and delicious.

I love embroidery floss added to painted work for texture. I've done a bit of that in my work too! This one is acrylic and floss on linen.
