I majorly agree with this. It’s always icky to me when adults do this. (Teens looking for authentic depictions of sex in YA is entirely different and some need these experiences explored.) But when adults shout about spice in YA, that’s a HARD STOP
Another reason why adults who clamor for “more sex in YA” need to read adult romance novels, not YA.
