okay. it just seemed weird for people w down syndrome to be catching a stray like that. i've only met a few but they were generally kind and thoughtful and might bristle at "debilitating"

and again "indivisible [#] of chromosomes" also implicates XXY, XYY, and XXX, which aren't assoc with reasoning

i assume you meant to stomp on people with down syndrome / other autosomal trisomies? which is definitely a choice! but there are also allosomal trisomies, which are *common* and significantly subtler

there are better less down-punching less incorrect ways to say this guy sucks and gets stuff wrong

hey folks! seems this one was published with a wonky url. it works from bluesky - with a url ending "/hydranym-no-2-2/" - but not from the web version or email, which links to "/hydranym-no-28/"

you apply this punchy wonky affect which feels like it belongs to a different conversation. i don't think we'll even reach a shared basis - it's like we are speaking different languages - so i'm going to disengage. happy holidays!

i've driven across the country a dozen or so times. i am aware the US has big swaths of sparse land. utility scale solar seeking to minimize transmission loss and maximize service access is not being built in idealized empty places but in ecologically sensitive large parcels proximate to use areas

human occupation, intensive unsustainable agriculture, and resource extraction are not the only uses land has. besides which, most of this "unoccupied" land is not suitable for development, which is why sensitive desert and chaparral and forest close to roads and grid infra keeps getting sacrificed

solar can't make more solar yet. there are worse ways to spend fossil fuels than thirty or so years of electricity, but it is foolish to destroy native ecosystems for it

ah, yes, land that "isn't doing anything" and which somehow isn't ecologically sensitive. that definitely exists. which is why they are cutting down oak trees

he also wrote a track condemning political violence and calling for conversation in the immediate aftermath of charlie kirk

there is something reactive and clout-chase-y and shallow in the way he moves that makes me distrust him

did you know there used to be only one kind of headlight, and it was illegal not to use it? eventually they expanded to two: circle and rectangle. at some point automakers were allowed to put their own units in and it's been downhill ever since.

it wasn't even a rust bug! it was sloppy database management that rust correctly pulled the emergency stop cord about - as written, presumably intentionally, by a developer - upon encountering.
