Love how a lot of the coworkers I like/get along with are making plans to move out of state in the next couple months to “blue sanctuary” states and I’m just kind of… very much stuck. Which like, good for them I’d rather they be in places where they’re safer. I just hate it here.

PSA: If you're chatting with an employee of a brick and mortar book store, PLEASE don't tell them you're going to buy the book they just spent 10 minutes helping you discover on Amazon. Yes, it may be cheaper, but you're basically using them as an Amazon showroom/extracting unpaid labor.

I want so badly to enjoy mobile games but the ecosystem they occupy apparently forces them into being annoying to play unless you are constantly purchasing magical coins at bizarre denominations that I refuse to understand.

I think it’s genuinely funny that back when my friends and I were actively playing genshin and making a favorites list for each element, ALL 3 of us chose The Same Character for Hydro thinking the others would choose someone different. It was the only one we agreed on:
Xingqiu, of all characters 😅

One of my biggest pet peeves with modern gaming is that it feels like the second anything turns like at least 15-20 years old, gamers get scared and think it's bad and clunky and outdated and needs a remake or else it's unplayable. Like it's not that hard to play PS2 games guys
