no actually i think i kinda understand that, it's probably due to paintings more serious rep coming from classic fine art while lineart being heavily associated with comics and 'lesser' media, and general audience could be biased like that

The purpose of art isn't to have finished "content," it's a dialogue between yourself and the world where the act of creating anything at all is the point. A scribble in one color is more meaningful than"perfect" nothing. Needing it to be "good" to be worth doing will poison your motivation.
