It’s not a pivot, it’s understanding that the role of a mayor is not the same as the role of a Senate leader. I wouldn’t expect my city council reps to impeach Trump just as much as I wouldn’t expect Schumer to prioritize fixing the zoning issue in the vacant lot down my street.

How much do you need to be spoon-fed? You can read Wikipedia summaries of proposed bills (e.g. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medicar...), you can read the proposed bills themselves, you can Google “america path to medicare for all” and read a hundred articles and explainers.
