While we are making lists, let's make lists of companies and brands who are holding fast to their DEI commitments.

Pick your focus and stick with it. We cannot fight in all fronts or we will become overwhelmed. But we can all peel off a corner in our area of expertise and begin to reveal effective strategies for resisting the chaos. Every single one of us has something to offer.

The goal is to physically, mentally and morally exhaust you, so they can #startthesteal while everyone cowers or checks out. Don’t let them have their way.

Share what you see and hear with others you trust. "Gossip" is how we are going to keep our head on straight in times that are meant to confuse us and that's why they act like gossip is awful/bad/dumb/crazy. It's not. It's explaining what we experience to others so they can say "me too" or share too

To "not see" and "n*zi" sound similar for a reason. They are trying to act like what we are seeing isn't real. What you see and what you hear is very real. They are playing mind games and will probably lay into "female hysteria" tropes to invalidate us. We need community more than ever! 1.

People who are silent about their politics are silent because their political views harm others.

They harm others but they still want access to our spaces.

They still want access to you despite voting to directly harm you.

Make no mistake, your silence on political issues is LOUD & CLEAR.

The POTUS, FLOTUS, VP, and White House social media accounts have switched over to the new administration.

(The opposite happened in 2020.)

This is just a reminder that even though the idea of "resistance" can feel like you have to do something big like protesting or boycotting (while important & useful), if you aren't able to do that right now the smallest thing you can do is not let yourself spiral into feeling hopeless and helpless

I will not be letting this administration stress me out. Will simply just do the work I need to do and help those that I can.
