Fireworks free campaigner for animals. #wecarenofireworkshere
Solid left and music all day long.
Parents allowed their children to throw pebbles and rocks at her. The second time I witnessed this is, I intervened. I'm afraid I wasn't as polite as I could have been.
Can we consider closing off access to the steam in the vicinity of the bridge to the public, to protect our eel friends?

Hey, um. Gen Xers and above, didn't you used to pick blackberries for free as a kid in random places in your neighbourhood like in the swampy area at the back of the horse paddocks or something?

Now days this fruiting weed is $10 a punnet.

Patifu!
Tofu "pate"
Apparently $3.20 from New World Thorndon.

Not bad at all. Could easily demolish the lot at 5pm munchies time.

Mōrena.

Today is the 15th anniversary of the Pike River Mine disaster.

The truth was told, laws were changed, the agency Worksafe was created but there has been no justice and now those laws are being dismantled.

Good article by Rebecca McFie in last week's Listener.

Purely observational, and I know we've known Hipkins for a while now but I often get Richie Cunningham from Happy Days. I have never called him Chippie but I might call him Richie.

Does anyone want to see what awful men exist outside of Bluesky? I have many examples, but this one, for once, isn't an unprovoked insult directly aimed at me. This is from an Andrew Little campaign page. I did reply however.

It's almost that time of the year for seymour to think about blowing up the Ministry for Pacific Peoples again and/or animals dying from the fright or injuries that fireworks have caused.

If you would like a PDF poster that you can print out to A3 or A4 and attach to your property please d.m me.

Two years ago, we had our general election. Showing solidarity with your left mates means repairing their signage if need be. Before and after.

Keeping my sign of encouragement at the front door until voting ends.

Crap. I didn't +. The post was my response to the O.P.
What you saw above was written by a "Travis Wellington". Check his profile if you will. You'll find someone that dwells somewhere dangerous, once you dig. How do we remove unsafe people? We can't.

Oh, this went up on the blabs 45mins ago. Slow though, compared to TPM and Green Party.

Kia ora @kasiazoe.bsky.social

Have you come across any good vegetarian or vegan stock powder (no MSG) on your travels?

The one I've been using for 30 years is no longer available, and I'm gutted.
R.I.P Rapunzel.

Marking my house safe from ACT ideology by indicating we have voted to RETAIN Maori wards.
This sign is at the door so everyone who passes can see.

Omg. Just at Picnic Cafe, Te Whanganui a Tara, listening to some boomer age folks talking about the share and rolling my eyes. Dude gets up to pay the bill. He has a MAGA cap on. Just about fell off my seat laughing.

I know not everyone is a NZLP fan, but is something afoot?
Around late August, Kieran McAnulty called the PM a dud, in the House and said (paraphrasing) "you've only got a few months left"....Then in an email newsletter today, Hipkins says "we can't afford 3 more years. Labour are ready. Stay tuned"

It's cool that Wellington libraries scrapped over due fines but I have had a book on reservation for ever and would very much like to pass my time in post operative recovery with my face in this book.
Can you please return it, if you've got it 😁

Can I please ask if the tide is out at Plimmerton?
(11am).
Yesterday I went for my first walk since emergency surgery 9th July. I went to Motukaraka Point. Today I'd like another short flat walk by the sea.
This is joyous after a long time being indoors.

I just want to give one single example of an unprovoked personal attack I've received this week. This was in response to the fact that I am not a mother, by choice. This thread had 18 exchanges. The guy that set fire to my property for my activism is still before the court.
Step up men.
