It's almost that time of the year for seymour to think about blowing up the Ministry for Pacific Peoples again and/or animals dying from the fright or injuries that fireworks have caused.

If you would like a PDF poster that you can print out to A3 or A4 and attach to your property please d.m me.

Its upsetting that there wasn't a way to legally get his nomination pulled for mayor and councilor after his behaviour towards Mayor Tory Whanau became apparent.
It's not acceptable that he could still run.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
He came in with the lowest numbers in his ward, and got a hiding in his mayoral votes. He did however have an extremely rowdy and abusive support crew who were on line 24/7 smearing everyone else hard out. It was a very toxic campaign from his camp.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
Oh ffs. He can't even show one ounce of dignity on the day.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
Yes indeed. Eeew. You just reminded me of Nathan Guy.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
Congratulations Rebecca! Well done.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
Well done! We retained our Maori ward in Te Whanganui a Tara but I see Horowhenua and Manawatu voted to remove, according to former MP Terisa Ngobi.
If so, the loss of these wards is Seymours legacy. This is down to him.

Congratulations on your win for Te Whanganui a Tara @ponekematt.bsky.social and well done to our region on voting to retain Maori wards.
All the very best to you for the next three years.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
Oh dear🤣. (Now, thats not an earworm I want)

Did you stand for your community board this year?
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
Seems to be that way but they attack anyone who stands as a candidate representing the Green Party or Labour and then they attack anyone vaguely supportive of that candidate. Honestly, its been so vile.
Its my guess they will totally lose it when results start coming through this afternoon.

Given my perpetual state of sleep deprivation I thought I had read as much in The Post a few months ago.
Bitter Wellington hate Andrew Little too and have had their troll army our smearing him and spreading bs. A very tiny minority but vicious and disruptive and people believe them.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
Sorry - I had read it wrong. My apologies.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
Eeew.
Oh, btw, we are listening to your Moon Flakes right now. Excellent as always, but I have taken note of VC Don't Lie by Stress Assassin as a stand-out track. (Hard choice though with so much goodness) Clearly, I wasn't paying enough attention in 2015.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
No one can trust them. Everyone should be skeptical but I understand people wanting to be hopeful.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
I wonder if it's a case of him being an inquisitive person with a high tolerance for bs and/or keeping an eye on the enemy.

I'm not on twitter/X and reluctantly rejoined faceblab. He has very few trolls there compared to some other opposition MP's.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
On her faceblab page, I should add. There was a short video.

They had a chat about a week prior to him announcing his nomination. From what I gather, there was a mutual agreement that he would run, and that there wasn't anything dominant about it. He didn't push her out. Today, Tory Whanau has said to support Green and Labour candidates and some independents.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
Yes. It was a gracious and selfless move.

He has constantly been bombarded by rw trolls during his entire mayoral campaign. Some of it has been from Ray Chung fans, which, worryingly includes some women, but also by white supremacists homophobes and bigots from outside of Wellington.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
Good question.
I remember RNZ doing a podcast about the affects of conspiracy theorists on their families at the tail end of the pandemic. It was really quite sad. The bigotry and delusion took over their lives and relationships with family, even breaking some families apart.
