Agreed. To be honest, it's not been great one way or another since 2012. I feel quite envious of the boomer generation.

I know. In my bleaker moments I think that things could very easily get worse. So as you say, really trying to seek out and relish the pleasures.

I liked the functions on Mastodon and wish they were available here but I was on an instance that seemed to be 95% male techies so it got very dull and samey as my follows all slowly disappeared back to X or moved here.

I've had a love hate relationship with it since 2009 😂 I have regularly taken very long breaks. I think 3 years was my longest.

I found I would dip in and decided to sever all ties. I'm not very good at moderation so I tend to be a bit all or nothing!
