As a public health scientist?
I cannot stress enough how poorly prepared this administration is for an ultra deadly & infectious disease like Ebola to make landfall here in the USA.
The best defense for the USA is fast resolution of an outbreak overseas.
RIFed:

Several CDC staff currently working on an Ebola outbreak overseas.

You know — the ones literally helping contain and prevent it from spreading. (Like, to the U.S.)

Trust us: dying from Ebola is a MISERABLE way to die.

RFK Jr: It's gonna be the biggest infusion of federal dollar into rural healthcare in American history

BERNIE SANDERS: Yeah. You know why? Because you're cutting $150b for rural hospitals, you're putting $50b back. That's not an infusion. That's a loss of $100b.

Millions of people are living paycheck to paycheck.

They're struggling with the cost of food, housing, and other basic necessities.

How does Trump respond?

By creating fake emergencies to distract from his failures to address very real issues impacting everyday Americans.

Okay, I'm just gonna say if, in English history, there was a small village and the nearby Laird prohibited hunting on his land. Why,? Kind of, why did society allow this? We could have made a different choice.

Drumpf and f*ELON are just (albeit unsuccessful) small business owners. That is NOT governing! 'Why do I have to pay taxes, figure out taxes, take out SS, pay overtime or health insurance?' Petty, petty people! Then there is greed for keeping everything they can get their hands on!

Just going to reiterate: If you wanted to 'solve the immigration problem' you would hire 40+ federal judges, give everybody working a green card or purple or whatever, give them a court date and get everybody a path to citizenship! What's with creating a slave/prison state??

Gone is American Exceptionalism. "We" are not #1! Drumpf acts like a small, unsuccessful, business CEO/manager. He's greedy and small-minded. His actions are a road map: 'we have to figure taxes, Social Security, insurance, minimum wage, overtime...?'

In normal times, DOJ wins most of its cases because it has the resources to ensure that presidential actions are lawful. But under Trump, the Department is run by a sycophantic election denying enabler. The result is DOJ's credibility with judges is in tatters and it is losing case after case.
