Lithuanian, quizzer, jigsawer, long term k-pop fan, crocheter, and several other kinds of nerd. I think I'm awesome, you should too. She/her.
I wanted to like #TheGameofWool, because it's close to my craft, I really really did, but I just can't. The standards seem odd, the judges too generic, the occasional addition of crocheting doesn't make sense for how they market this, and it's just... no, sadly, no.

"One good shake and the headpiece goes" - yes, the same way we saw happen with the previous three contestants, why is that suddenly a problem if it wasn't before? #TheGameofWool

"Knitting builds a garment row by row, while crocheting does it one stitch at a time", as if knitting the row isn't one stitch at a time either, just in a different way. Pfff. #TheGameofWool

I think my newest favourite reality show is my niece's kindergarten drama. Bernard trying to throw Ugnė's pretty hairpin out through the window and my niece warning her teacher just in time for that not to happen? Scandalous and heroic in one.

I kinda already lost the #Whamageddon today, but then I googled and saw it starts only on December 1st. So... yay?

I always say "you know shit is real when really kind and calm people start swearing". Nick Mohammed did that for me this time. #CelebrityTraitors

The problem with scrolling before watching a competition series finale is that you get spoiled. Oof. #CelebrityTraitors

I really should start giving less to the people who don't deserve my full care.

Pebble pouches!
Sea otters have underarm pockets that they keep food and their favourite stones in.

Quest 3 really shows that Physical Asia is not holding back at all. This is both impressive and intimidating.

It's kinda weird how time numbs things sometimes. And you try to tell yourself it's okay but you still feel guilty about being less emotional.

Seeing Fair Isle vests being knitted on Game of Wool makes me wonder if there are crochet patterns for one.

wait you’re telling me that this simple task I’ve been putting off for two weeks, that has tormented me like a two hour task, only took 30 seconds to complete? If only there were a valuable lesson I could learn from this.

Ah well. Nevertheless.

It also feels quite weird to see Australia as part of the Asia season, but I love Australia in general, so I'm not complaining for that :D Also weird to not see China, I wonder if there were some political reasons. #PhysicalAsia

Alan forgetting he had a shield is a legit argument and I'm surprised Joe didn't bring that up around the round table. I'm also surprised no one caught on Jonathan's very surprised reaction about Cat voting for him. As much as I love her, I kinda hope someone has noticed it. #CelebrityTraitors

I really wish people would stop focusing on English being my second language, unless language aspects are directly and strongly relevant.

I've been aware of Hank Green, and seen a few bits here and there, but never more properly. After watching him on QI, I think he's absolutely delightful.

You know how sometimes you almost swallow a fly that you didn't notice was in your coffee? I think I just did that, but with a spider. And I found it only when I finished the coffee. So... yeah, I'm worried.

(Re)watching The Blacklist and sorry, if after seeing a code message being a bunch of numbers, I - I! - immediately think of alphanumeric substitution, how come such a clever FBI agent like Elizabeth Keen doesn't?

Just spent 8 and a half hours in a speed puzzling session. That's some very serious business.

Sounds about right, I'd say mine were possibly at 12, but that's absolutely close enough.
Your strongest music-related memories are formed around age 14.

Also, I didn't realise until it happened, but gosh how nice it is to hug people. I feel I haven't done that in ages

Somehow, lately I've been craving art and culture quite a lot. Feels so weird, I have never been properly into these things per se. It's so interesting to observe myself as I mature.
