Going to say that even if one gets serious about big companies buying up houses and charging high rent to live in them, another problem is so many houses getting bought up in affordable neighborhoods to be "flipped".
Whether or not those become rentals, they're no longer affordable.

I know several pieces of recent news make the outlook of the future look bleak, but please remember two things:
1) you can only flush trillions down the toilet with nominal returns for so long
2) the future they claim to be rock-solid is still very much made of thin glass

But he's definitely a boy and definitely a few years younger.
