Mozog Station is Falling Down played at Make A Scene in Minneapolis recently. I don't know how it went, but someone made a cool poster that players signed, so I guess pretty well? Next, Espionage Party will be at Be-Con next weekend.

Looking at that scowl, you wouldn't know she loves belly rubs.

Captain Carrot is feeling very long this evening.

By reports on Elvira Chaudior, "she is intelligent and has a quick brain but is probably rather lazy about using it...favors the companionship of women who may not be careful of their virginity...attractive to both sexes." Her cover as a ditzy socialite made her easy for powerful men to confide in.

Tried to take Carrot for a walk since the temperature cooled, but between the air being soupy and some stray fireworks, we did not get all that far.

Cursed Court is a Judith approved board game. It is the perfect size for napping on.

Cat-sitting this weekend, and it is really making me appreciate just how focused my cats are. Judith can be very single-minded, and Carrot will keep trying until he figures out how to get available food. I wonder if that comes somewhat from training or if it's what makes them good at training.

Here is Captain Carrot on the night I met him, living in my building's parking lot. It took about 20 seconds of letting him sniff my hand and a couple scritches for him to decide I was his best friend.

It is a good day for a nap.

Judith's hunting instinct is so weak, she just watched a squirrel pass within a couple feet of her without even tensing up.
May 8, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Judith's love affair with logs and fallen trees goes back years.
May 6, 2025 at 9:18 PM
I know she shut the door on me earlier, but it's hard to stay annoyed with her when she looks like this.

I was just returning home with some groceries, and Judith was right there when I opened the door. I turned away to maneuver my bike inside, and this girl CLOSED THE DOOR ON ME.

Oh no, I accidentally left a blanket in a cardboard box. Judith is never coming out of there.
April 2, 2025 at 7:43 PM
This was Judith getting cozy just a few months after I brought her inside after I found her hiding under some stairs from a snowstorm. In the spring of 2020, I had a lot of time on my hands and her as my only company. That's a large part of how I got into cat training.

The last time we had a balcony, Judith would actually knock on the window when she was ready to come in. She wouldn't do it repeatedly or meow; she would knock twice and then just wait patiently for me to open the door, even if it took 10 minutes. I did not teach my cat to do this.

Part 2 with Captain Carrot's run. He is energetic but not methodical.
March 18, 2025 at 10:49 PM
Sometimes, I scatter treats around the treehouse and see which cat will find them all faster. Who will win, the adventurous Captain Carrot or the methodical Judith? Here is Judith's run.

Since I have a camera again that isn't a little fucked up, enjoy a video of Carrot playing on his treehouse.
March 13, 2025 at 1:26 AM
I have decided to refer to this structure as the cats' tree house.

I need to do laundry. It's been in the basket so long I think it's gaining sentience.

Judith is excited to get back to the park as the winter winds down.

When I met Carrot, he was the loneliest, hungriest boy. The first time I brought him food in the parking lot, he kept going back and forth between me and the bowl so he could get scritches while he chewed. Now he'll yell at me for ten minutes because he's gone two hours post dinner with no treats.

No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to give me tuna.
