I'm sure it's Steve Bray behind Jenrick. Good on him (Steve) and all concerned. 🤣👏

Absolutely howling right now. 🤣 Brilliant.

Oooh, I have just put out some niger seed for then first time to try to entice the goldfinches. Having a visit from one of these would be a wonderful bonus. Not sure the nuthatch couple who visit daily would agree though.

Thank you. Same to you. 🤗

That's modelled on me trying to get to the bathroom first thing in the morning (thanks knackered Achilles tendons). 🤦‍♀️

That's my first thought. Either that or there is going to be more state pension tampering, perhaps?

Send the tossers back to the USA and block them from ever returning to the UK.

Should that be 'moteeth'?

Exactly that and I too used the duty-free glass bottle argument. Worringly & sadly, I was left thinking it was a bit of a security theatre. And I still to this day don't understand the issue with my tiny plug-in hair straightners at EMA. Eventually let through after putting up a polite argument.

I had tweezers confiscated at BHX because they were clearly weapons of mass destruction. It was even more galling to have to pay through the nose to buy the exact same tweezers at Boots once I got past security. 😡

Well, since you asked, it's rubbish but so is the rest of my body so at least I feel co-ordinated. That said, I would still give it my all if Wasteland was played in a club.....the pain felt the following days would be worth it, cured only by God's Own Medicine. 😉 What an album!

Watching that reminds me of my school swimming teacher. She must have been an otter in a previous life (not in a nice way). 😱

In fairness, even when they just bark they make more sense than some people in the world today. "Covfefe" anyone?

I don't care for 'digital' this and that. What I want is to actually be able to register with an NHS dentist again. And maybe have more people being efficiently employed (not exploited or under-utilised) by the NHS rather than just Streeting getting excitable about on-line....yada yada, etc.

I love everything Bob Mortimer does / has done. I've read and listened to his previous books, but didn't know about this one, so thanks for the 'heads-up'. I will "have a think around" getting the audiobook soon. Cheers :)

My thoughts too.

I was thinking of: 'The Nonce (allegedly) formerly known as Prince'. But both work well for me.

I have taken early retirement and I rejoice that I no longer have to drive home or get public transport in the dark. I did also go through what you described when I WFH and I agree, it is horrendous and that last hour or so just drags so much.

For me, the worst was when, at the front of the stage at a gig, someone I knew wanted a grand old chat with me. He also knew full well it was my favourite band. I eventually said "I've paid good money to hear this band, not to listen to you all night, so STFU!". Happily, we never spoke again. 🙉
