... Rather than mock people who are hurting. It's a fucked up, complicated situation and "I told you so" just tells people they aren't welcome and that's the sort of attitude that made people reluctant to move here in the first place.

I'm also angry that people are going to experience drama over this because at first it seems like they insisted on hugging the mast of a sinking ship.
But to be fair. Were there any lifeboats that could hold them? If moving to Bluesky was truly inadequate we need to examine why...

Like I'm legit FURIOUS about it on all levels. I think I'm bitter that people had more trust than I did in something that ultimately fucked them over but also I wish things could have been better. Goddamn, this world is fucked up and we don't need more crap to deal with.
