SURELY, the site being rebranded as TormentNexus dot com would respect artists' rights and not fuck them over. I totally get being in denial that things would Get That Bad but damn. I'm both extremely pissed at what is going on at Xitter on behalf of the artists that stayed there but also. Why??

Me agreeing with this and me having HEARTFELT sympathy for artists who are victims of the Twitter AI bs are not mutually exclusive, and I *don't* like the "I told you so" mentality in general!! but also, there had to be SOME expectation that Twitter would cross too many lines *eventually* so. Yeah.
Just a haggard look at everyone who stayed on Twitter long after Elon took over as he added worse and worse features, boosted Nazis, made every bit of it a bigot safespace, and outright said they were scraping it all for Grok.
I guess a direct 'I am stealing your art' button was the step too far.

For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

Me agreeing with this and me having HEARTFELT sympathy for artists who are victims of the Twitter AI bs are not mutually exclusive, and I *don't* like the "I told you so" mentality in general!! but also, there had to be SOME expectation that Twitter would cross too many lines *eventually* so. Yeah.
Hard decisions to make but I think angel Dabi x Demon Dabi would be amazing hehehe
