Two of the worst things to happen to media criticism were the AVGN (and by extension the Nostalgia Critic) and CinemaSins. James has at least shown he understands games enough to critique them, but the “angry” persona that made him popular absolutely poisoned the well for at least a decade.

I'm enjoying Crisol so far, but I absolutely have to give the highest of praise for the art design, because it is ASTONISHING how many little environmental details there are in this game, the art team did a magnificent job. The bull's horns are beer taps!

MN has been under siege by ICE/DHS for so long that whole swaths of the community are struggling to pay rent, people are having to hide their neighbours in each other's homes, and they circle schools looking for brown kids to kidnap, but Dem leadership wants to give them even more money. Vote Dem!
Democrats want voters to come out and give them a landslide, but we also have to yell at them to not give ICE/DHS more funding, yell at them to not support SOPA, yell at them to not support genocide, constantly remind them that child concentration camps are bad actually, but make sure you vote Dem!

To spin off: A lot of modern fandom fire (that isn't culture war tourists) could ease off if people processed that if you're a fan of a property, you don't have to like -everything- that comes out in it. Some shows just won't be for you. That's fine. You don't have to make up reasons to not like it.

Police in Bloomington, MN just announced that one of the guys they arrested in an underage sex trafficking sting was a **background checker for ICE agents.**
He had a high security clearance in the Trump administration... and he was caught trying to abuse children. Sickening.
