Evictions include people with disabilities and children - 13 of the children go to one local school, and their families will have to move outside the catchment area as there is so little available to rent in Killarney. There's a petition to prevent it here: www.change.org/p/prevent-a-...

I always have a useless arm for at least 4 days afterwards. I have a fake job though and make sure to get it in my non dominant arm, but yeah I literally can't lift it more than 30 degrees

the last minister who fought for it was actually interested in the arts, involved in it and communicated a good few times with participants. this current fuck is late to meetings and makes a point to tell everyone he has a lot more meetings to attend then is on his fucking phone the whole time 💀

the current minister for the arts is so obviously only there to use it as a stepping stone to anoter more prestigious ministry. he wouldnt commit to confirming anything, in case it could be used against him. then he was making it out that if it gets cancelled its actually the minister for finance

like it really is the bare minimum, unprecedented public approval, it literally makes the covernment money and they go ok another trial run basically. I'm really happy its been brought in but the whole process surrounding it has been so much politicking

They made a balls of that too, current iteration is stopping in February. The new one is a new application, starting in September. So people are left hanging about if they'll even get it for 6 months
