I think what would have been preferable would have been to suspend Israel when the #Gaza genocide began, just as Russia were suspended over the invasion of Ukraine.

While the rest of the world is (rightly) focusing on #ICE atrocities, it's worth remembering that Sweden is expelling teenagers, and in some cases babies, to the likes of Iran and El Salvador.

Growing up in NI during the Troubles involved turning on the news most days with trepidation but i especially remember how the murders of ‘troublesome’ nationalist HR lawyers - inc also Rosemary Nelson - made us feel particularly vulnerable and not only unprotected but targeted by the state.
