So 8 days ago I had my gallbladder out. I had gallstones, and for 2 years I was in quite severe pain pretty much constantly. That qualified me for the surgery. A few days before surgery, after a blood test, my results came back with high sugars.

Going for a cute little roast lunch with cute friends today so thought I'd dress all cute. So far I've smeared lipstick across my face and got hair stuck to my lips. It is also now raining.

Update re: The Surgery. It went well on Saturday - I was in and out in a day, as planned, and the gallbladder has gone. I recovered pretty quickly from the anaesthetic, but the soreness has lingered. Unfortunately, now I have an infection to deal with. Such is life!

It's #WorldSuicidePreventionDay today. I have spent over 20 years struggling with my mental health. I have been victim to its collapse on more than one occasion. I have been hospitalised, placed under a 72-hour-hold, medicated and therapised*.
