9 states still trying to end 504. As a person who home schools bc there is NO ENFORCEMENT of LRA, or the IDEA in general, this will stop disabled kids from even being in schools.That means more parents having to stay home bc it is next to impossible to get care for a disabled child.

Another time the kid jumped off the bus.No reason was given but I still think he was being bullied.Bus driver called the cops.Cops found him when he was still on 10. He threw his shoes at them, they stuffed him into the cruiser & brought him home.

From 1/09-2011 there was a kid I cared for who was one of the most dangerous ppl I’ve met.Explaining more would break HIPPA.Once he jumped out the front window & as we were trying to catch him & safely bring him inside the cops showed up.They grabbed his arm &wrenched it behind him to get him inside

Watched the Lego movie today & not only does President Business use the same type of propaganda as the current administration but he murders people the same way too. Peolple watched that movie & thought “wow, the master builders shouldn’t obstruct Business from using the Kragle, they deserve to die”

OSEP is gutted. There is no more federal regulation of IDEA. That means when a disabled child is denied accommodations, abused, neglected it’s up to your state only. If your child goes to a state ran school like-mine did the exact same people paying the judge are paying to abuse your child.

This will increase the jobless rate for DeafBlind people, decrease college access & increase the need for caregiving as well as for snap and Medicaid benefits for DeafBlind people. At the same time RFK gets to decide who is disabled enough to qualify for SSI & SSDI.

This comes at the same time the federal government defunded programs for DeafBlind people.No programs to help with transition out of high school,no job training programs no technical assistance to help DeafBlind people fill out resumes or learn assistive technology to increase independence

Wisconsin DeafBlind Technology assistance program will shut down on 9/30/25. It provides loans for equipment, educational materials, resources for tactile ASL & training for both parents and teachers.

I’ve already made plans with my husband about what we do if we see ICE taking disabled kids or their parents at my kids pediatric hospitals…and what we do if I get detained. We don’t also need to be worried about the national fucking guard

Imagine taking your epileptic teen to their neurologist & just crossing your fingers that they won’t have a seizure while you’re outside the hospital bc the National Guard may think they’re aggressive & shoot them.

Imagine going to Luries Children’s hospital and RMDH bc your kid has cancer & you’re already worried bc so much pediatric cancer research has been cancelled & if your kid lives they’ll be permanently disabled & you have to explain to your sick kid why the National Guard is blocking their way.

I can't tell you how much I fear AI being used in health care. Particularly its impacts on non white communities.

Oh, and the removal of ACA subsidies will disable small businesses. Small business owners & their employees use the ACA. Imagine paying %15 of your income on student loans & another $800-$1,000/mo to have insurance that has a $9500 deductible. How many less full time employees can you afford?

When I learned the big eugenics bill will remove all IBR for parent plus loans I involuntarily laughed so loud my husband thought something happened. My parents likely still have parent plus loans & chose to get fucked over caring about their kids & grandkid. This is an appropriate consequence.

In 2015 I told my parents Trump wants to kill my kid and theirs (me).They voted for him.I went no contact in 2018 after they continued to support him. My therapist told me I was catastrophizing.I never went back.Republicans aren’t “finding out” they’re denying reality as they have for a decade.
