THE CRUELTY IS THE POINT.

That feeling when:

👎 Corporate job cuts surging past 1 million so far this year, with 153,000 new layoffs just in October

👎 10% reduction in flights over the course of the next week.

👎 Living through the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.

Well, Donald Trump and the Republicans DID succeed at SOMETHING.

Americans are tired of division and eager to unite for progress. Republicans need to end their shutdown!

Voters in California have passed Prop 50, locking in a new congressional map for the next several years. The measure reshapes district boundaries and will impact representation across the state until 2030!

NEW: Two federal judges rule the Trump administration must tap into billions in emergency funds to at least partially cover food stamp benefits in November.

Tragic that courts must force the President to use designated funds to feed hungry children and vulnerable families.

NOW MIND YOU…SNAP benefits have NEVER covered beauty treatments or salon services!

We love a good receipt: www.fns.usda.gov/snap/eligibl...

The only scary thing this Halloween should be costumes, not 42 million Americans losing food assistance. Republicans need to stop the “tricks”, end their shutdown, and do their jobs.

Republicans control the White House, the House, and the Senate.

This shutdown belongs to them! #RepublicanRipoff

Groceries are still expensive. Rent is up. Benefits that help families put food on the table are about to get slashed.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is constructing a massive ballroom. Republicans are at brunch.

This is ridiculous, and everyday Americans are the ones getting screwed.
October 23, 2025 at 6:37 PM
As the government shutdown continues, federal workers struggle and SNAP benefits face cuts while healthcare costs rise. Yet this administration found $250M for a ballroom and Donald Trump thinks this country owes him 230M. Where are the priorities?
October 23, 2025 at 5:20 PM
Federal workers are at food banks while working without pay. This is unacceptable.

Republicans: End this shutdown now. Reopen the government. Pay these workers. No political dispute justifies forcing Americans to choose between bills and groceries.

Reopen the government today.

On October 15, the Supreme Court takes another look at Louisiana v. Callais, threatening to dismantle key voting rights protections. If Section 2 falls, minority communities could lose fair representation, potentially securing GOP House control for years regardless of how Americans vote.

Republicans refused to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits, which will cause tens of millions of Americans to face dramatically increased premiums, copays, and deductibles when the cost of living is already too high. These cuts MUST be cancelled and healthcare must be saved.
