My RDP IO Lab presentation on "Decrypting and Inspecting RDP traffic in Wireshark" was just *cancelled* - apparently Microsoft decided they would only do internal presentations, with no guest speakers 😠
What's the point of even trying when you get treated like this?
Who would like to review my slides for my upcoming RDP IO Lab presentation on "Decrypting and Inspecting RDP traffic in Wireshark"? I have finished my first draft, but could use some feedback. It's supposed to be 45 minutes in total, including Q&A. Just DM me with your email and I'll send you a copy

This is an often-overlooked but practical and occasionally-successful FOSS-tools business model: the code is FOSS, the testsuite is the union of all your customers' proprietary code & data, held in NDA by the devs, who sell customers back a subscription to "a version we ensure passes your tests".

It took me making an April's fool joke to learn about marketing. Dug out an old blog post of mine of how Flask came to be. My learnings from then are kinda funny. lucumr.pocoo.org/2010/4/3/apr...

Hypervisor isolation is great for security, but not known for fast cold starts. Meet Hyperlight - an open source Rust library that can create new VMs in one to two milliseconds.
