It’s from Glacier Point… which is about the same elevation. Glacier Point is an an absolutely amazing viewpoint… especially on a moonless night!

I actually took it during the shutdown. Yosemite seemed quite clean and normal. There were two rangers on duty at the campground (deemed essential employees). I also saw the normal amount of law enforcement rangers patrolling and giving speeding tickets.

I did a google image search using my photo… look up rime_msk on instagram to find the original artist. Although it is in a public space, and this is technically transformative work. Look up case law relative to Richard Prince’s derivative/transformative work relate to other people’s copyrighted work

It is actually a mural done on the entire side of a building. I agree that vandalism and gang tagging is a definitely an urban blight.

I agree! Human creativity takes many artistic forms, and uses many different “canvases”. There are some brilliant graffiti artists.
