Timeranger, Shinkenger, Gobuster, ToQger, Zenkaiger, and others I’m not remembering offhand were all written by women. I dunno where this came from.

To be fair, the new Ultimate line has that too. Ultimate X-Men seems custom tailored to Gen-Z/older Gen-Alpha in the best way possible. It's admittedly going from a persecuted minority allegory to a strictly puberty allegory, but the very different cultural perspective makes it work. Check it out

I was going to cry foul at Detroit being so low but then I saw that NYC and Chicago aren't even on the list so now I'm just cackling maniacally (on the inside).

The fast travel system was the same in the original, just without the ability to buy Ferrystones. Admittedly, that was a decade ago, and it sounds like DD2 is SIGNIFICANTLY bigger. I'll still probably try the game, just not at launch price.
