My visiting parent put up shelves in the office, I have now populated them with gaming books that have been sitting in tubs in the garage since we moved, I'm sure they're glad to be in out of the heat.

My 3 year old little Guy *cannot wait* to open his advent calendar tomorrow.
He's been carrying out around the house with him saying "CONSTRUCTION!" in an excited voice and keeps asking if it's time for bed

A particularly competitive game of Barbecubes last night
A current favourite little game. Barbecubes is an adorable and very simple little dexterity game that is pleasing to look at and play.
There is also a vegetarian version that is exactly the same but with different pieces, I always bring both to game night because I like to be inclusive.

A current favourite little game. Barbecubes is an adorable and very simple little dexterity game that is pleasing to look at and play.

A fun, simple, mascot racing game we played last week. Winning revolves around betting on the races rather than the races themselves. I won through two hugely risky bets in the last race.

Wrath of Fire Mountain at the pub last night, picked this up at Gen Con last year and it's a simple, fast, but surprisingly thinky strategy game. Plus it has Dinosaurs, which is always a bonus.
