Yes, and Alabama has 3 of them including a loss to a horrible FSU team. Not sure if ND should be in, but Alabama should not be.

That, and it’s completely arbitrary. One year criteria A is important because of reasons, but the next year it’s irrelevant. It was designed to be flawed because the powers wanted a flawed system.

And it is that way because the big conferences wanted it that way. They should stop complaining unless they actually want to fix it (they don’t)

FSU was kept out of the 4 team playoff after winning their conference championship. If it was Ok to knock a team out because a player got injured, then it’s ok to keep Bama out. Ole Miss coach is gone- no playoffs for you. The problem is that it’s a completely arbitrary system.

It seemed the team was deflated after both Marshall’s injury and Mason Curtis’ injury. Coaches had to coach differently.

They could have more conference champs make it and fewer at large bids. A trade off between having the best teams make it vs valuing conference champs.
