I remember! One of my favorites.
I don't know what it is, but is not just the one thing.

The texture of the brush, the choice of colors. It touches something i don't have a word for.

It loses me money every time, but feels good to hold the book in my hands and being like "this is mine. this is real."

had wonderful opportunities for all these past 4 years, finding myself very fortunate to work with great editors, and featured along side other others in multiple anthologies.
