I'm getting increasingly uncomfortable with how often these days my reaction to Senate votes is to sort of thank Rand Paul for voting with Dems.

Latest is the vote on curbing DJT's attack on Venezuelan boats.

Yeah. A lot Welsh people settled in the Philadelphia metropolitan area so many of our towns and roads are Welsh names or derivation of names of towns in Wales.

If the TX National Guard are just sitting around at a training facility in IL and/or just standing in front of federal buildings, but not shouting or firing things at people, they are not who protests should be directed at. They're in rock/hard place situation at the moment.

With Joan Kennedy's death (and that of Ethel's almost a year ago to the day), there goes "the Kennedys" as they were in the 1950s-1970s. (Joan was included in the "Ethel and family" birthday picture last year.)

I hope she is at peace now.
