I am the lucky one.
Spur of the moment, my adult granddaughter decided to hop a plane and join us in BC for a driving tour.
We like doing marathon road adventures...so does she.
Even days of steady rain didn't get us down.

We spent a few winters in Salt Spring Is. BC.
Hastings House was a favourite spot of ours for many reasons. The grounds, the woodwork and masonry, the huge Inglenook fireplace, the food. And the staff too.
