If I didn’t have contaminated ground water and was in a “boil water” advisory there are picc wraps/covers online. But the nurse said it was too risky.

I either have to use body wipes or boil water and use a basin like I’m in a war camp in one of my fiction novels.

Yeah they had blown my arms in multiple spots so I have hard lumps and bruising everywhere. I had finally asked for a better option since these meds are going to be long term (months for bone infections)

I have to avoid all repetitive actions, vacuuming is also on the list. Dishes were a struggle.

I don’t know how to avoid showering/getting wet yet.

Didn’t think 40 was sponge-bath territory yet 😂😂😂 but here we are

Its apparently not the pushing, but the lifting action that triggers heart attacks. (New study was out last month)

The picc line is a tube that runs through my upper arm vein, to deliver meds directly to my heart.

Risks are sepsis, clots… maybe death

Dried peas or dried beans in a clean/new sock also work!!!

I use those novelty socks that people get at McDonalds/Tim Hortons that fit no-one and have too many loose threads inside

Ahhh it’s MADE from Americans…. I get it now. By the makers of Soylent Green, probably.

Why is the apple pie bloody?

Depends on how luck affects you personally. For me? No it wouldnt. I would get 3 bad then 3 good. Usually the bad are way worse (like dead family members) than any good that follows (getting a free item/gift)

Some say you can flip over the tails to heads but you must leave it for the next person. Never pick up and take a coin on tails. Bad luck to follow

Fine. I can play

If you find them in odd places where they aren’t typically found -> magical forces

If you find them on the ground -> the new ‘lucky penny’ if on heads put in your left shoe, if found on tails, leave them be (bad luck)
December 17, 2025 at 3:09 AM
It means that since pennies are gone, people drop more nickels and dimes and don’t value them enough to bother because of germs/bad back/slush/didnt hear it fall/have too many of them/etc

Depends on your floors and the type of mopping bot you buy. It was streaky at my last place. But I have one that is like a swiffer. So I have to add fluid and change out the cleaning pads daily.

The newer bots that clean themselves after mopping are super neat though! Super sanitary!

Depends on the season for me. My dog doesnt wear shoes so a lot of muck gets tracked in regardless. Spring-fall is sandal/flip-flop season. I have ones that stay on the property and ones for wearing to go out. Winter= boots for out, slippers for home

Clean floors is what my mopping bot does

I wish The Search for Ben Solo were made…. Two years of research and work wasted cancelling it.

I liked all the movies… except for the decision of killing him off.

I still baby my kid with too much info & rn try to make sure they dont fall down into the “ai friend trap” that is convincing ppl to ☠️ themselves.

Kiddo hates gen ai as much I do. But I worry anyhow. 🤷‍♀️

Oh for sure! All those blue/red/rocket freezie coolers are dangerous!

At 14 I showed all the drugs & explained which ones were instantly addictive,
how different drugs would make one feel, etc. Incase kiddo asked for a tylenol/advil for headaches & someone tried to give something else as a prank

I have a Saint Bernewfie, she just loves the snow and cold. Summers are too hot for her to enjoy running around. (Despises rain like it’s devil water 😂)
December 15, 2025 at 4:55 PM
Agreed, +sending them out of your sight & off your property with booze is also illegal

I wanted my kid to recognize what everything looked/smelled/tasted like as a lot had just come out w/ high-sugar & taste like popsicles/candy/pop

I knew my kid was anti-booze. I didn’t want them tricked into it

“In Ontario, the Liquor Licence Act states that people under the age of 19 can consume alcohol only if it is supplied to them by their parent or legal guardian and it is consumed in their presence. Similar rules apply in other provinces.”
