Train quite busy so decided not to fight my way to my booked seat as it was a pretty long way from my bike......think I'm now a 'large bag'

Strap provided to secure bike does up on the far side, needing you to dislocate your own arm and try to tread and tighten it in a gloomy corner behind your wheel. Felt slimy. 0/10 experience

Thankfully this is the end of the line for the next train so it was waiting for me. No info about where cycle carriage is, no visual clues on outside of train either. No other cycles onboard, very fiddly to hang and handlebars a smidge wide to get into space. Nice person offered help.

First bit of journey easy as cycles allowed without booking on this bit of the journey.

Win#1.... Asked at the station if the lift at platform 1 was still out of order. No apparently not now, but the one at platform 2 is out of order (they have been like this for at least 6months-one or the other out of order). Turns out BOTH worked :)
