Bobby Hutcherson was born on this day January 27, 1941 in Los Angeles. The great vibraphonist recorded 24 albums for Blue Note between 1963-1977, played on classics from "Idle Moments" to "Out to Lunch!" & returned to the label for his final album in 2014: bluenote.lnk.to/BobbyHutcher...
