Fox announcers, as the Yankees are on the verge of losing the series 3-1, "give the Yankees credit for being more well rounded this year"

What

"Hey you, on 2, let me see you wiggle!"

the worst uniform in professional sports you mean.

It's like the whole league is in stunning vibrant color and somehow they're still black and white.

Does he have 63 too...

Fan wearing a "Dump Here" jersey with 61 caught Cal's HR 🔥

Immediately changes into an identical 62 jersey

It's a tie game 3, with the blue jays up 2-0 in the series and these announcers are all like "the Yankees can win this series"

Sean Manaea got the win, Edwin Díaz the save. Game 2, #mets win.

The Dodgers have scored at least 4 runs in 13 consecutive postseason games

That’s tied with the 1970-71 Orioles for the longest such streak in postseason history

exaggeration, but if there weren't so many investigative journalisms just aggregating press releases people wouldn't turn to content creators that had done two google searches and read a first-hand Instagram account showing the press release is not true.

Reactionary content creators think they’re the new investigative journalists.

Investigation tools they use
- Twitter rumors from blue check anon accounts
- ChatGPT

flames are okay. microphones? THE HORROR.
mattgelb.bsky.social
Phillies are currently testing something new -- flames shooting from the top of the batter's eye. If they accidentally set the ivy that covers the batter's eye on fire, that would be a show.

terrible reason, but yeah maybe.

Glad the Mets are changing coaches but imo the manager should've gone too. Even if you like him I can't see what special value he has that would override starting fresh with a whole new crew?

I suspect there are some front office staff that need to go too, too much disconnect.

I can confirm "Up Up Up and out of bed" to the tune of Golden does not, in fact, get them out of bed though.

I'm far from an expert, but how much of that WW1/postwar stuff was really just whitewashing racism or whatever? Probably wasn't much different than 'gotta kill the Middle East cause 9/11' stuff.

Which was my original point. This isn't what was 'chose' or 'wanted' by the electorate and the tired whining that people should've accepted the bad choice is tiresome, as it was in 2016.

They'd basically telegraphed every single thing in p2025 for years/decades previously.
ceetar.bsky.social
genocide, reduced voter access, and decreased abortion access, things both candidates ran on.

That's just not how it works. Over and over again. You can't run bad candidates and expect people to hold their noises and vote.
ceetar.bsky.social
balanced SCOTUS wasn't on the table and hasn't been for decades.

it pretty clearly indicates a failure of the system given how it polled. It's one singular point, and one that was just in writing what we already knew about the party. Regardless, that didn't/won't motivate people to jump hurdles

Did you sit out 2016 or.. it was everyone, we just all knew that. It didn't change anyone's mind that it existed on paper
ceetar.bsky.social
Not true. Rigged elections, no new trump voters, and also no good candidates. No one voted for it, it was a non issue.
ceetar.bsky.social
If you didn't I'll apologize, but your tone suggests you did. Maybe you should try again, because you seem not to understand what some of these fairly basic terms mean.

You could even ask one of the LLMs, they're pretty good at obvious stuff like that. Fact check of course.
