Vance is worse than Trump. He’s smart enough & aware enough to know the risks of enabling Trump - he said so early on his political career - but his ambition & arrogance have led him here. He stands on the historic precipice.

There will be a short term boost fueled by tax cuts & deregulation, especially in energy, but as cuts to social services & education, etc., take hold, the con will be revealed. But Trump may get passed the midterms; unitary control of the gov’t will shield him. He’s going to get away with it.
